MEET PAUL
OWNER OF HUTCHINSON WINDOWS
Hutchinson Windows started trading in 1993. Paul Hutchinson has been in the window fitting business for in excess of 32 years.
Paul first got into the business by chance working as an apprentice after leaving school as a carpenter and joiner. He started with a large commercial company fitting aluminium shop fronts and office blocks. This gave him the opportunity to work on large projects all over the country.

Paul travelled to East Germany as part of the installation team that fitted windows in a newly built hotel and office block. This involved fitting a curtain walling system that encased a staircase that went up four storeys. On another trip he installed bullet proof steeled windows in the president of that time’s government building.
Paul learned quickly in carpentry and joinery and found that as the replacement window business started to evolve that he had a knack for the design and installation process and ultimately enjoyed what he was doing. As Paul’s confidence in the installation process grew he watched how the company was being managed and felt that he would like to improve the customer experience. So after working for 2 years Paul had the opportunity to start working with new PVC windows for local companies.

In 1993 he bit the bullet and decided that he could provide a better service by working as a small business. Paul’s fantastic work ethic and belief in the importance of providing an excellent standard of workmanship has meant that his business has grown year on year.
Fast forward 25 years, Hutchinson Windows Ltd is a family-run business with Paul designing, planning and installing windows and doors. Paul has a small team and they take on all kinds of replacement window and door installations, cladding, fascia’s and guttering, conservatories, roof lanterns, aluminium bifold doors through to new builds, in both exclusive and budget ranges.
